a nother chance to prove myself. Another chance to be laughted at.
I don't know. Go in with hopes, leave with failure.
Expectations high in the beginning. Patience in the middle. Sorrow at the end.
Another day, another week, another month. Another maybe.
So much for courage. So much for dreams. So much for taking chances.
The door opens then closes.
I'm tired of trying but yet I keep going.
I don't know the answers, I'll figure it out later. My time is passing.

n ever gone backwards, always forwards.
Never taking a step ahead can make me feel like a failure.
How would I progress in my life if I cant lead myself out of the tramas I have suffured.
I have never had a shelter life so I dont know how to sit back on my ass and be stepped on.

Make up your mind. We are faced with people telling you no, that you can never be.
Dont give them a reason to keep saying it or you will start believing it.

People think they've known you.
They dont know how strong you can become until you have shown it.

What they feel is not what you feel.
What they see is not what you see.

Unless they lived my life, seen my life, it doesnt matter what they say.
It matters what I eat, what I breath, what I thInk.
Dont tell me differently, its my life, you live yours.

About The Author

I'm 43 years old and I live in Far Rockaway New York. I have been married for 26 years and have 3 children ages 24, 22,17, and 2 dogs. I have always lived my life for my children but life is quiet with the 2 older ones already out of the house and the 17 year old doesn't really need mommy.So now I have to start living life and working my dreams into the picture. Its my time to shine in other words and I have made my list of all those things to do. Since I was a child I have always been an avid reader and writing in my diary was the way to get thru the days. As an adult I have lots of books and scrap papers with every thought and feelings written down. My wish is happiness thru the goals I set for myself.
